Apply to become an apprentice and learn how to deliver one of my Spirit Medicine modalities in your own unique way, by blending it with your existing skill-base and interests. I teach students how to master their psychic skills and access spiritual guidance via a slightly altered state of consciousness while staying grounded and engaging critical thinking skills, making them highly effective as spiritual healers and counsellors.
Australian Naturopath Omanisa Ross
Om's practitioner-training program provides apprentices with:
High-quality training in small class sizes of 2-6 people. Class frequency can be weekly, fortnightly or monthly, from 1-2 hrs, as negotiated with Omanisa.
Written lesson material with optional homework exercises to strengthen your self-awareness and further develop your skills
The opportunity to co-facilitate workshops, classes and/or courses with Omanisa
Become part of Om's Student Clinic – observe and/or assist while she provides consultations to clients who grant permission for apprentices to attend
Local students (Darwin NT) with an interest in herbal medicine are welcome to assist in the herbal dispensary by pouring liquid herbal prescriptions.

In years past, we've had students join us from New Zealand, Queensland, Victoria, NSW, Adelaide and Brisbane. While local Darwin students are welcome to attend the clinic for their personal consults, the style of healing Om teaches lends itself perfectly to distant work. As a healer, Omanisa works with clients all over the world and as her local clients can attest, a session via Zoom is no less potent than a session in the clinic.
As of 2025, we're returning to a pay-as-you-go model rather than asking for lump sums in advance, because people's circumstances change and Om prefers a more organic approach.
Aura ~ Chakra ~ Energy Lines ~ Colours
Om has almost thirty years experience reading, sketching and healing people's aura's or energy fields. Aura Reading is a form of psychic counselling that can help clients develop greater self-awareness so they see and own their inner light, make peace with their shadows and make positive changes in their life. Om is especially interested in helping amateur Aura Card readers develop their skill. If you are already practising as a healer/counsellor/coach, Om can show you how to integrate the card readings into your consults. If you've been doing readings for friends and family and thinking about going professional, Om can help you build your confidence and take the next step!
Aura Sketching can be used as part of the reading/counselling process, but it can also be used as a therapeutic way to help people express and explore feelings they can't easily put into words. If you're artistic/creative or you'd love to incorporate art and colour therapy into your practice, Om can help you develop this skill.
Aura Therapy is a blend of creative visualisation, colour therapy, mindful meditation and Ki energy work that can be used to help people shift their mindbody into a more positive state. It often includes shamanic methods such as soul retrieval, as well as exercises based on neuroscience and psychology. Om can teach you how to craft your own energy/Ki based modality, or help you integrate these skills and concepts into your existing practice in ways that align with who you are.
Nature Therapy ~ Shamanic Journeying
Om's Gaian Healing modality has been a big favourite with apprentices, because it blends Aura Therapy with shamanic journeying and Nature Therapy. A Gaian Healing attunement follows a series of specific healing steps that realign the client's aura, release blockages and restore flow and reconnect them with Nature, their larger body. While the Earth Goddess Gaia (Mother Nature) is the main guide for this healing, the healer is also assisted by Nature-spirit helpers such as animal spirit guides, plant spirits (eg dryads and flower spirits), elementals (eg sunlight fairies) and the spirits of mountains, rivers and so on. You can ask Om to train you in this modality, or choose aspects of it that appeal to you and blend them with your existing skill-base. For example, you might want to help people connect with Nature via mindfulness exercises or creative visualisation as part of your counselling practice.
Spirit Guides & Inner Selves
Students can choose to specialise in working with Spirit Guides, where they learn how to deliver a spirit-guided healing and/or pass messages through from people's guides, to enhance the client's healing and personal growth. Om can also show you how to use spirit guide therapy, where clients are taught to "create" a spirit guide to help them access their inner wisdom and higher guidance. Om has a special interest in spiritual psychology and the way spirit guides and inner selves (like the inner child and higher self) can be used as tools to cultivate a better quality of self-talk and self-love.
Oracle Cards
While the SpiritLight course teaches you how to do Oracle Card Readings to enhance your own healing and personal growth journey, apprentices can learn how to become professional readers for others. Om has decades of experience as a card reader, and can teach you how to read any deck intuitively, without needing to refer to the book.
RAINBOW REMEDIES
Om is a naturopath who specialises in using Herbal Medicine and flower essences to heal and balance the chakras. She has her own unique product range of herbal chakra tinctures, aura sprays and Australia wildflower essences which graduates can have wholesale access to. Om is happy to work with student-practitioners who would like to learn how to use plant-spirit medicine for health and healing. For some, this will be about collaborating with spirit guides in the shamanic visionary state who specialise in working herbal/bush medicine. Alternatively, you might want to learn how to make flower essences and communicate with flower spirits, or be trained to use Om's Rainbow Herbal Elixirs.
